1.Overview

To operate XWave reliably and securely, we use a small number of trusted third-party service providers, known as subprocessors. This page describes the categories of subprocessors we rely on. Each is bound by contractual obligations to protect information and to process it only as needed to provide their service to us.

2.Categories of subprocessors

Our subprocessors fall into the following categories:

  • Cloud infrastructure and hosting for running the service and storing data.
  • Communications infrastructure for routing messages and connecting voice and video calls.
  • Content delivery and networking for delivering the service quickly and reliably.
  • Customer support tooling for handling your requests.
  • Analytics and diagnostics for understanding reliability and improving the product, kept to a minimum.

3.How we work with subprocessors

We select subprocessors carefully and require them to meet appropriate security and data-protection standards. They may only process information on our instructions and for the purpose of providing their service. They are not permitted to use your information for their own advertising.

4.Changes to our subprocessors

As our service evolves, our list of subprocessors may change. For business customers with a Data Processing Addendum, we provide notice of material changes as set out in that agreement. See our Data Processing Addendum for details.
